Their pick-up and drop-off locations were almost impossible to find. They run a paperless system which, if you're not travelling with a smart-phone, is very unsettling.

Best value that we could find for renting a vehicle in Ireland. We ended up arriving 12hrs late but they still had a car waiting for us. No fuss declining the CDW with a confirmation of coverage letter from our credit card company (other firms we rented with in the past have tried to scare us into using their insurance). They did initially give us a vehicle that had the 'check engine' light on all the time, so we turned around shortly after leaving the rental compound and brought it back. Told us at first just to ignore it, but then agreed to swap it for an identical vehicle (Fiat Panda). Drove it for five weeks and no problems when dropping it off and shuttle to/from the airport was available promptly.

The rental was fine. My only negative was the car insurance they surprise on you at pick up. It was almost the price of the entire rental and we did not expect that at all. Much too big of a surprise and should be available to book online to avoid the last minute, very large fee!

Pick up from the airport took ages and getting a vehicle once we got to the depot also took a long time. We booked a small car and I got a 7 seat van which was fine for me but had one mirror held on with tape.

I know car rental companies make most of their profit from selling insurance but easirent’s insurance more than doubled the cost of the rental. Seemed excessive. Also the pick up was slow. Other than that the car and staff were fine.
