The location of the Savoy is excellent. I have mobility issues and need to use a mobility scooter but every effort was made to ensure I could access all areas of the hotel. The staff had the right balance of providing supreme service, where nothing was too much trouble and were mostly preemptive, while still being personable and warm. You can find lovely hotel rooms anywhere, but finding the right staff is obviously the Savoy’s forte.
In a breakfast room of many empty tables, trying to get all of the breakfast plates on a small table for two people was a good act in jigsaw puzzling. However, this is a small quibble as everything else excellent.
