Pros (+) Location is a big bonus for this traditional hotel. Walkable to many of the main sights in Madrid and excellent for wandering the Retiro Park. The VIP lounge was handy to have for snacks and coffee and of course a lovely terrace. Juan at the VIP club was excellent and very helpful!
Cons (-) I did expect a larger room with more comfortable beds and perhaps a pillow menu. I requested a different pillow late at night and had to call twice before I actually got one. Air conditioning was also a problem since it would not cool as much as we needed. Had a repair guy in our room at 2.00 am in the morning checking the vent and changing something which helped a little and had to request a fan....

Pros (+) The breakfast buffet was excellent as was the service if you requested a la carte. The hotel has a great location, excellent staff and we were very happy to stay there.
Pros (+) Nice, clean, beautiful, very nice service.
Cons (-) First, breakfast. We had to wait for the available tables together with other hotel guests for 15 minutes. Not much, but honestly, this is bizarre. Pros (+) The breakfast is great with nice enviroment. The doorman is always nice and enoy their kindly services.
Cons (-) The reception is not as nice as before with late check in but early (pushed) check out
Pros (+) Staff were very friendly, room was clean and super quiet, well serviced daily and blockout blinds great for tired traveler wanting to get over jet lag. A very easy place to stay and feel comfortable and relaxed. Great location.
Cons (-) The pillows weren’t great and the bed a little hard but it really didn’t affect us
Pros (+) A fabulous old fashioned top notch hotel. The facility is very well maintained and the staff, at all levels is absolutely excellent.
Pros (+) Everything. Excellent service and facilities. Great high-end classic in Madrid. Not to be missed. Unfortunately these kinds of hotels are being bought by international hotel companies and are loosing their personality. Not the case with this one still great!
Cons (-) All great no issues at all.
