We had a room facing Neville Street. At night the noise from the street was preventing us both from sleeping and didn't get off until 3am. In addition a group of people on our floor banged on every door on the floor we were on waking us up further. I have not experienced anything like this since I stayed in a Hotel in Bournemouth which unfortunately was the one that a large stag night happened to be located. We will return in the late summer to move our daughter into her Uni house and will insist on a station facing room so as to avoid this unpleasant experience again. Overall the quality of service was good to excellent. Its a shame this had to spoil things.

Having turned in for the night we found the room to be excessively hot. The pipes to the radiator were very hot yet the radiator was turned off. The water from the radiator was hot too. It made for two very uncomfortable nights. There was no milk in the room for a cup of tea in the morning and the fridge was empty. Overall we enjoyed the stay especially as a lot of the old features in the hotel were still present.
