Awful. We booked tickets months ago and paid extra for specific seats. As we were boarding, we were told to stand aside because we were put on standby. Apparently, out of the 3 of us, only 2 of us were given the seats we paid for, and my daughter was seatless. So, we weren't able to board and take our flight, which caused a cascade of cancelled events for our short trip. Volaris offered nothing - no compensation, no explanation.

Absolutely horrible experience. I was not able to check in for my flight online. When I got to the airport to check in I was told I would be put on standby. We did not make the flight it was full then were told the next flight to our destination left in 3 days. Our baggage was lost and took 3 hours to recover. It was honestly the worst experience I have ever had with an airline.

There is an additional fee for EVERYTHING on Volaris. The flight ended up being way more expensive than on better airlines. Fees online are different than in the airport. They wanted to overcharge us for luggage more than $200 from what the website said. Flight attendants didn’t care about the passengers. They were rude and more concerned about their personal conversations. This was my first and last flight with Volaris.
